Francisco Rivera vs Alex Cacares Full Fight Video Highlights
It was a big night of brutal knockouts in New Orleans, Louisiana last night (Saturday June 6th, 2015) with UFC Fight Night 68 delivering on all fronts. One such KO was a vicious first round finish by Francisco Rivera, as he starched Alex Cacares with a peach of a right hand counter over ‘Bruce Leroy’s’ jab. The full fight video highlights show what was a perfectly timed overhand right, putting to rest Cacares after only 21 seconds.
Cacares was emotional after his big win, after sitting dormant following a controversial loss to Urijah Faber in 2014 at UFC 181. Rivera moves to 11-4 (1) with the win, and really ade a statement to the bantamweight division in the process. With ‘The California Kid’ coming off a loss to Frankie Edgar in Manila, maybe there is scope for a rematch between the two, as many feel that Rivera was beating Faber before the eye poke that eventually led to his submission loss.
