Joseph Benavidez Blames Conor McGregor

The UFC continues to stack the UFC 192 pay-per-view card as UFC officials announced (through the Houston Chronicle on Monday) that former flyweight title contenders face off when Joseph Benavidez takes on Ali Bagautinov.

Joseph Benavidez is on a three-fight winning streak coming into this fight. He’s fresh off a win over John Moraga on May 23, 2015, at UFC 187 by unanimous decision.

Bagautinov hasn’t fought in over a year and his last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Demetrious Johnson on June 14, 2014, at UFC 174 for the UFC flyweight championship.

Women’s strawweight Rose Namajunas will also return to face Angela Hill at the event. Namajunas is 2-2 in her pro MMA career, which has seen her last two bouts be losing efforts thanks to Tecia Torres and Carla Esparza.
