The co-main event of UFC Fight Night 83 showcased two middleweights looking to continue their winning streaks. Roan Carneiro (20-10) hoped to extend his streak to seven, while Derek Brunson (15-3) searched for his fourth straight victory.

Brunson lunged forward throwing some heavy right hands. He missed a head kick and Carneiro missed a hook wildly that sent him on his back. Brunson reigned down a series of punches and referee Keith Peterson┬ákept the fight going until “Jucao” was unable to defend himself.
