Claressa Shields is set to defend her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and WBF heavyweight titles against Franchon Crews-Dezurn in her home state of Michigan next year.
For the longest time, Claressa Shields has been one of the most intriguing female fighters in the game. In addition to her incredible exploits in the world of boxing, she has also been able to venture into mixed martial arts. Now, at this point in her career, she’s open to any and all challenges that come her way.

The fight will see Shields go head to head with Franchón Crews-Dezurn on February 22nd in Detroit, Michigan. This contest serves as a rematch from November 2016, which was actually the first professional fight of Claressa’s career. Now, the 30-year-old is ready to try and prove that she is still one of the best female boxers on the planet.
As for Crews-Dezurn, she has the chance to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the year in boxing. She holds a 10-2 (1) record and is currently riding a two-fight win streak, with her losses coming at the hands of Savannah Marshall and, of course, the woman she will try to exact revenge on in February.
