UFC on FOX 17 is set to go down live and free on big FOX on December 19, 2015 from Orlando, Florida. It’s shaping up to be quite a stacked card, and news has just been reported that an intriguing featherweight bout has been added to the event.

UFC Tonight’s Karen Bryant has reported No. 7-ranked Charles “do Bronx” Oliveira will welcome former lightweight contender Myles “Fury” Jury to the featherweight division, as the two are set to do battle:

Jury announced a few months back that he would be making the move down to 145-pounds, despite being ranked inside of the top 10 at lightweight, and he won’t be faced with an easy task. After putting together 15-straight wins, and six-straight inside of the UFC, “Fury” dropped his first career loss to current title challenger Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone last January.

He will look to get back to his winning ways, and make a name for himself in his new division come December.

Oliveira on the other hand, was lined up for a big fight of his own when he took on No. 5-ranked Max “Blessed” Holloway in the main event of August 23’s UFC Fight Night 74. However, things went south when Oliveira suffered a supposed neck injury extremely early on in the first round, forcing him out of the bout without actually fighting.

Apparently he’s now healthy, and ready to go, and will look to continue his winning ways. Prior to meeting Holloway, “do Bronx” had compiled four-straight wins.

UFC on FOX 17 will be main evented by a rematch for the lightweight title between champion Rafael dos Anjos, and “Cowboy” Cerrone. A long-awaited heavyweight tilt will also go down between former champion Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem. That’s not all, however, as Stockton brawler Nate Diaz will make his return to meet Michael Johnson.
