Caio Borralho Details Scary Injury That Ended Planned UFC 330 Joe Pyfer Clash
Caio Borralho recently revealed that he was going to fight Joe Pyfer at UFC 330 on August 15. However, this middleweight bout is now cancelled after Borralho was forced to pull out.
“The Natural” last competed at UFC 326, where he put on a dominant performance against Reinier de Ridder and cruised to a unanimous decision win.

Joe Pyfer, on the other hand, is currently riding a four-fight win streak in the UFC and knocked out former two-time middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in his last fight, which was earlier this year in March.

Caio Borralho explains why he has to pull out of his next bout
Team Fighting Nerds’ Caio Borralho has suffered a rib injury for which he had to go under the knife. Hence, his UFC 330 bout against Joe Pyfer has been cancelled, according to “The Natural.” To inform fans of the same, he posted:
“Unfortunately, the rib didn’t heal, and the displacement was dangerous because it could have punctured my lung, so we had to resort to surgery. Unfortunately, the fight at UFC 330 with my friend Joe Pyfer will not happen. I hope to be back soon and able to do what I love in the UFC.”
