Anderson Silva Reacts To Bisping: ‘No Viagra, Just My Punch In Face’
After a trying three-year period most recently capped off by a one-year suspension for two failed steroid tests before and after his win over Nick Diaz at UFC 183, former longtime UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will finally make his return to the Octagon when he faces Michael Bisping in the main event of February 27’s UFC Fight Night 84 from the O2 Arena in London, England.
Despite his status as a fully entrenched company man, Bisping never got over the hump to face Silva in a fight that was talked about for many years while both were in their primes. Now that the fight has finally been made, the two fighters participated in an open workout session for the fans in Torrance, California yesterday (February 12, 2016). Despite some early respect being shown, things got a bit heated when Bisping interrupted ‘The Spider’ during an interview.

In the video, Bisping ramped up the trash talk by predictably throwing some trash talk at Silva’s laughable NSAC hearing defense where he cited a sexual performance enhancer as the reason he failed for multiple anabolic steroids. But Silva wasn’t fazed by the barb, instead reacting to Bisping’s suggestion of no more viagra with the following classic comeback:
“No, no, no, just my punch in face.”
‘The Count’ then seemed to revert to his old trash-talking heel ways, rubbing Silva’s greying beard and calling him too old:
“My chin to your shin. You think you’re gonna front kick? You’re too old. You’re too old. Look at your beard.”
Silva was again unwavered, however, as he played into Bisping’s attempts to get in his head with the class of a true champion by agreeing with ‘The Count’s’ big mouth in hilarious fashion before playing off of Bisping’s failed attempts at being a UFC title contender:
“Yes. Yes. I’m old. You know what, I’m old, but I’m more smart. I was champion for a long time, remember?
Bisping suggested he was but was on steroids to which Silva continued his outright victory in this one-sided trash talk faceoff:
“I understand, but give me a hug. I understand your frustration for never go for the belt, but this is your chance. You need to go for the people.”
Bisping continued to suggest Silva was on steroids his entire career, but the exchange ended when several people including Ed Soares stepped between them to let Silva get back to his interview, and ‘The Spider’ ended his statements with a ‘Love you, man,’ while Bisping ended it with an angered ‘Fuck you.’
It’s still early but it would appear that Silva is focused and unaffected by Bisping’s usual trash talk as he handed each and every turn with not only class, but the perfect response.
