Alexander O’Sullivan Wins Irish Derby at Cage Warriors 200

A pair of undefeated Irishman faced off in the featured prelim of Cage Warriors 200. Alexander O’Sullivan at 4-0 aimed to take the scalp of 5-0 countryman Scott Harvey.

Alike the rest of the card the fight started at a frightening speed in this Irish derby. An early takedown from Harvey was eventually defended well by O’Sullivan. On the feet a few great knees were thrown in the clinch by Harvey. The round swayed back and forth between both men in a highly technical affair. A big throw by O’Sullivan was unsuccessful but moments later he landed a takedown and quickly mounted the back of Harvey. After some great ground and pound Marc Goddard called a stop to the contest with less than 30 seconds left in the round.

O’Sullivan maintained his unbeaten resume after he secured the TKO win in the dying embers of the very first round getting the stoppage after 4:37.
