Adam Borics Declares The Big Statement He Wants to Make at PFL Madrid
Adam Borics will be taking on AJ McKee in a long awaited featherweight fight which finally goes down on March 20th at PFL Madrid. There has been discourse from when AJ McKee was the Bellator champion years ago about ‘is Adam Borics the next up’ or ‘is this a fight where Adam Borics could get the title shot?
When asked how it feels to finally have this AJ McKee fight locked in when it’s been discussed for so long by ardent fans of mixed martial arts, Borics said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“Yeah, it’s been a long time. I think we both have eyes on each other long time and he was the [Bellator MMA] champ. I supposed to fight against him for the title and after, [Patricio] Pitbull wanted his rematch. So, I just want to fight against the best guys and I think he’s on the top on the division now. When I beat him, I [am] going to make a statement.”
Adam Borics has “a clear vision” on the statement he will make at PFL Madrid
After presuming that the Hungarian fighter visualizes certain elements of the fight leading into the contest and when asked if he has a visualization piece for how he sees this fight playing out with McKee when PFL comes to Spain, Borics stated [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“I have a clear vision on this fight, but what can I say? I [am] going to make a statement, definitely.”
When mentioning how exciting both fighters are and how that speaks volumes in the sense of how there doesn’t need to be a contrived rivalry piece to promoting this fight, Borics quipped [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“I mean, just don’t miss this fight because I think a lot of people waiting for this fight and I think it’s going to be a banger. AJ and me, we are exciting fighters. Nothing but respect, but I am coming for a victory, you know?…. I mean we met [a] couple of times. We always have a quick chat and he was always respectful. I respect him. He’s a good guy, good fighter, and this is just all about business.”
