UFC 158 post-fight media scrum, Dana talks Diaz, TUF women, super-fights and much more

After the press conference, Dana opened up about a bunch of very interesting topics. Dana admitted that the UFC are scouting and doing try outs for female fighters, making a season of TUF women practically a guaranteed endeavor for the UFC.

Apparently the show could also end up being a mix of both men and women, not sure how that would work, but I’m sure they’ve got it figured out.

Dana also goes on about Diaz a little more in depth, including his concern over his admittance of life long tax evasion and what he’d like to see for his career in the future.

Also discussed was Chris Weidman, potential superfights, potential upcoming UFC locations, the debut of Jordan Mein and the satisfying performances of every fighter on the card.

  • Guys and girls both living in the TUF house should finally bring an exciting season.
    Looking forward to that.

Oh and ps. having coaches be best friends right after talking sh!t about each other isnt great tv so outside of waiting to see Uriah Hall fight this season has been pretty dull.

  • @highkick…. Dana really overhyped TUF this year after bad ratings last year.

I still enjoy watching TUF though especially without the commercials.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't think Matt Hughes is the right guy for the job of UFC Fighter Relations, Chief. I just don't think he has the people skills.

I can only imagine how funny it would be to hear Diaz's reaction to a Matt Hughes phone call.

…Nick….Matt Hughes, here. Do you have a moment? I'd like to talk to you about media obligations, smoking dope and paying your taxes.
