UFC's first Swedish fight card taking shape with six fights including Stann vs Sakara

The UFC will make its first trek to Sweden on April 14, 2012. The fight card will take place in Stockholm and according to MMAJunkie.com, it will air live on Fuel TV from the Ericsson Globe Arena beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
Several fights have been booked for the card, including a middleweight scrap between Brian Stann and Alessio Sakara. Stann recently saw a three fight winning streak come to an end when he was submitted by Chael Sonnen at UFC 136. For his part Sakara also had a three fight winning streak come to an end in his most recent bout when he dropped a unanimous decision to Chris Weidman in March on a UFC Live card.
Other fights expected on the card are Papy Abedi vs James Head, DeMarques Johnson vs John Maguire, Magnus Cedenblad vs. Francis Carmont, Cyrille Diabate vs. Jorgen Kruth as well as Besam Yousef vs. Simeon Thoresen. – for more see MMANytt.se

Its cool that the UFC is coming to Europe. Even though dana White is talking shit about Fedor, We still like to watch the UFC in Russia. UFC should come to Moscow

the reason you got weaked is because you might be the only person on the site that didn't know about the UFC signing with fox and their affiliate networks. there are not going to be fights on spike anymore. instead you'll catch them on big fox, FX or fuel. check the upcoming events page of this website. and get your shit together too.

Yeah that is what I am the most excited for as well, I think this is 3rd of 4th MMA fight all which he has just trashed his opponent, the real surprise is that he has won most of those via submission.
For those that don't know Jorgen Kruth is considered one of the greatest muai tai fighters of all time.

It's strange to see the difference betweeb cards that the UFC make when they go abroad.
When they go to japan or brazil they bring the big names, and when they go to sweden or other countries, they don't; for exemple last time they came to england the card was far from being stacked
I know Dana would say you shouldn't judge a card before it took place but still when you go to a country for the first time you have to bring some big names
The way I see it, I live in France and unfortunately MMA is still illegal for now, and Loenzo was in France recently to promote MMA and he talked to the sports minister ect...
I can't wait for the day it will be legalized here and I'll be able to see an UFC event here, and the day they do, I would be so disapointed if they wouldn't bring some really famous fighters!

This is going to be a really great card for swedish mma, really glad to see so many swedes getting a shot at this event and Jorgen Kruth is going to be awesome.
