Brock didn't wish death on anybody, he stepped on a sponsor's toes. There is no comparison.

He went a bit far to make a point, its called hyperbole and most people do it sometimes when emotions take over.

But to compare him to Tito? and to compare Chael to Tito? My god, only person that I compare to Tito is Frank/Ken Shamrock and Lesnar.

I don't think so, I think he said what he meant, he's just angry because of his ego and the fact that he got smashed.

He didn't apologize by saying he misspoke. He apologized admitting that he was wrong for saying it. If he was exaggerating to make a point, he could have said that.

Why do you have a problem with Chael? He's intelligent and respectful. When he criticizes Anderson or other fighters, he's not doing it in a belligerent way. He has a right to his opinion. And frankly, he deserves that shot against Anderson a lot more than Maia does. Let Maia take another shot at Nate.

You're confused and have probably never seen the Maia Sonnen fight. It ended in a fluke take-down that landed in a triangle.

I think he is sincere in terms of being sorry he said it, however, I'm sure he still feels that rage. It's been transparent since his 2nd fight with Brock.

Its similar to saying "Im gonna kill that guy" when you mean your going to beat him in a fight.

What was Frank saying in the exact same conversation about how much he hates fighters who offer cookie-cutter remarks that they don't actually mean? He's not sorry, he's just giving a cookie-cutter apology.

The guy is a douche who talks directly out of his ass.

I think this was simply a case of hyperbole and getting caught up in emotions. I do it all the time so I understand, being real is about saying what you feel at the time, at the time he was feeling what he said but now he regrets what he said. People can change their minds or see things differently on different days.

Completly agree, it's just that people LIKE to react to any contreversy and media just feeds it to the people and people happly chew and swallow it. This forum for example, just look at how many negative reactions has this topic already caused...

    BJ Penn suffers from hyperbole.

"George I'm gonna go to the death and I'm going to kill you. I'm not joking about this."

These guys are fighters. They talk smack. You think this is bad? You should hear what they say when they are training at their camps. Mental warfare..

How about this? Suspend Frank, have Cain face Carwin for a shot at the title. Sharp or what?
