Video: T.J. Dillashaw Explains How His Success Comes From Duane Ludwig

Team Alpha Male’s T.J. Dillashaw caused one of the biggest upsets in MMA history at UFC 173 when he took out Renan Barão to become the new bantamweight champion of the world.

Prior to his defeat to Dillashaw in May, Barão had dominated the UFC’s bantamweight division and was on a 33-fight unbeaten streak which dated back over nine years.
But that record was cut short by “The Viper” who battered the Brazilian for four rounds before finishing him in the fifth.

Dillashaw has credited a lot of his monumental win to head coach Duane Ludwig who joined Team Alpha Male at the end of 2012. Since Ludwig’s arrival the camp has grown into one of the best gyms in the world.

Ludwig has now left the camp to create his own gym; Bang Muay Thai. However, he and Dillashaw are still working together preparing for the champions rematch with Barão at UFC 177.

In preparation for the bout at the end of the month the UFC have released a video of the duo getting ready for the second encounter. Take a look at the video below courtesy of the UFC on Fox’s official YouTube page:
