Gifted a golden opportunity to meet a top-ranked challenge when Roan Carneiro was forced out of the main event of last night’s (Sat., September 26, 2015) UFC Fight Night 75 from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) phenom Uriah Hall finally capitalized on his massive talent and potential by finishing longtime vet Gegard Mousasi in awe-inspiring fashion.

‘Primetime’ most likely lost the first round after an early single leg takedown by Mousasi, but he showed a much improved ground game by utilizing some excellent escapes and submission attempts including armbars, kimuras, and heel hooks.

In the second, however, the tables were turned by Hall’s insane striking skill as he rocked ‘The Dreamcatcher’ with a picturesque jumping spinning back kick right on the chin, following up with a massive flying knee and a flurry of follow-up shots to earn a big upset victory.
