UFC Star Trolls Conor McGregor Over Retirement Announcement

UFC star trolls former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor, who has had an interesting week. That star is heavyweight fighter Tai Tuivasa. He decided to have some fun at the expense of McGregor through the power of social media.

Tai took to his official Twitter account where he made a playful jab at McGregor’s retirement announcement from earlier this week. This is where he joked about his own eating habits. He wrote the following:

“Hey, guys just a quick announcement! I’ve decided to retire from eating @KFCAustralia today and switching to a better and healthier option…trying to decide which ? thoughts? #BetterLiving ??”

Tuivasa, who is coming off the first loss of his career this past December, is scheduled to fight former WSOF heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov at the UFC 238 pay-per-view event The placement of the Tuivasa-Ivanov fight has not been announced.

The UFC 238 pay-per-view event is set to take place on June 8, 2019, at United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The main card will air on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET and the UFC’s streaming service, Fight Pass.
