UFC Fight Night 92 from Salt Lake City, Utah last night (August 6, 2016) featured some great performances from the fighters who took center Octagon, and one of those performances came at the hands of 145-pounder Teruto Ishihara. Ishihara came into his fight against Horacio Gutiérrez with full force, knocking out his Mexican counterpart with a vicious left hand in the first round. Ishihara would be awarded with $50,000 for his ‘Performance of the Night’ honors.

Two notches above on the preliminary card was a heavyweight contest between Marcin Tybura and Viktor Pesta. The collision of the big boys lasted up until 53-seconds of the second round, when Tybura landed a thunderous headkick to Pesta’s skull shutting his lights out. Tybura would was given ‘Performance of the Night’, as well as $50,000 to take home along with his second round victory.

In the main event of the evening featherweight highlight reel combatants Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres went toe-to-toe in one of the most exciting main events in recent memory, as the two 145-pounders unleashed their respective unorthodox arsenals on one another. The bout would go all five rounds and would see the up-and-coming Rodriguez take home the split decision victory. Caceres won’t go home empty handed however, as the two men were given ‘Fight of the Night’ and will each take home an extra $50,000 for their efforts.
