UFC Fight Night 80 Bonuses: Namajunas Leads $50,000 Winners
Touted women’s strawweight Rose Namajunas put on her finest performance against paige VanZant in the main event of tonight’s (Thurs., December 10, 2015) UFC Fight Night Night 80 from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she deservedly earned a $50,000 bonus for her efforts.
Namaunas won the first $50,000 “Performance of the Night” for her rousing five-round war that she dominated and finished by fifth round submission after ’12 Gauge’ miraculously survived several brutal looking attempts.
The second “Performance of the Night” bonus went to welterweight Tim Means for his knockout victory over veteran John Howard, a strong rebound win after losing to Matt Brown.
The two “Fight of the Night” bonuses went to co-main event combatants Mike Chiesa and Jim Miller, who traded submissions until Chiesa finally rocked Miller and locked up a rear-naked choke for his biggest win.
