UFC Fight Night 67 Open Workout Highlights
This Saturday night’s (May 30, 2015) UFC Fight Night 67 features the long-awaited return of fan favorite welterweight Carlos ‘The Natural Born Killer’ Condit, who will come back from more than 14 months off recovering from a torn ACL suffered against Tyron Woodley in the co-main event of UFC 171 last March.
Condit will risk his no. 4 status against resurgent slugger Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves, a fellow former title challenger who most recently scored his second consecutive win (and a $50,000 bonus) with his comeback stoppage of the young but dangerous Jordan Mein at UFC 183.
In the co-main event, Charles Oliveira and Nik Lentz will finally have their rematch of their original fight at UFC on Versus 4 way back in 2011, a bout that ‘Do Bronx’ originally won by submission but later saw the result changed to a no contest due to an illegal knee.
