Travis Browne returned to action last night (December 6th, 2014), in an effort to shake off the beating he received from Fabricio Werdum in his last outing. He faced TUF veteran Brendan Schaub in a three round affair, although only one round was actually needed. “Hapa” never looked in trouble as he put a solid starching on “Big Brown”.
For Schaub, this was more than just a disappointing TKO loss, it was his second on the bounce and is symbolic of his standing in the heavyweight division. It doesn’t look like “BB” belongs in the elite of the division, but “Hapa” certainly does, and he proved it against Schaub at UFC 181.
