If, for some reason, you are holding out hope that Tito Ortiz will fight Quinton “Rampage” Jackson prior to his retirement, well, odds are that the fight is not going to take place.

Ortiz and Jackson are friends and Ortiz recently had the following to say to FightHubTV about the possibility of fighting the man he first met in the late nighties when Jackson was working at a bar that he frequented, “Of course, if there was the opportunity for us to fight for a world title and we’ve talked about it and if it was for a world title we would because we don’t want to take money out of our families mouths. But now, he had a loss against Jon Jones, one of the best light heavyweights in the world right now and I lost to Rashad.”

As far as seeing a champion in Jackson when the two trained together early in their careers, “100 percent, I knew Rampage would become a world champ. He just needed to put in the hard work.” – for more see FightHubTV.com
