UFC on FX is over from Atlantic City, New Jersey and the main event found Gray Maynard delivering an important win at Lightweight. The fights featured a lot of technical fighting, with decisions comprising 3 out of 4 main card bouts.

Not long ago Gray Maynard was an unbeaten fighter competing for the UFC Lightweight championship. In his first attempt at unseating Frankie Edgar the two fought to a draw. An immediate rematch was hoped for, but injuries prevented that rematch from taking place as soon as everyone would have wanted.
When the rematch did take place Edgar retained his title by knocking out Maynard at the 3:54 mark of the fourth round. The victory allowed Edgar to avenge what was then the only loss of his career, as he

Clay Guida managed to bounce back against the aggressive Rafael Dos Anjos, earning a second consecutive victory in the UFC. Dos Anjos dominated early on, but it was Guida who delivered the quality for quantity by submitting the Brazilian in the Third Round. Rafael Dos Anjos has every reason to be upset with his defeat, as his broken jaw is what caused to an unusual tapout. Dos Anjos has a bright future ahead of him, and we’ll surely see more of him in the UFC.

UFC on FX 4 took place at Revel Atlantic City, New Jersey. UFC reports a sell-out crowd with 4,652 spectators. No totals for gate receipts have been reported as of this writing. The Main Event turned out to be a disappointment for most fans, including UFC President Dana White who tweeted a string of complaints about the fight as it was unfolding:
