UFC Fight Night 78 went down this evening (November 22, 2015) live on FOX Sports 1 from Monterrey, Mexico. It was a solid night of fights, and the co-main event provided fans with one of the better fights of the card.

In the co-main event, former title challenger and highly-ranked featherweight Ricardo Lamas took on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 1 winner Diego “The Dream” Sanchez.

Sanchez, a fighter known for his constant pressure and warrior spirit, was making his featherweight debut, and he had no easy task in front of him.

Although it was an entertaining fight, “The Bully” was able to dominate Sanchez for the majority of it. Lamas went to work on the legs of his opponent, continuously breaking “The Dream” down.

At the end of the bout, Sanchez was a bloody mess, and Lamas was ultimately awarded a unanimous decision victory.
