Paige VanZant vs. Joanne Calderwood Slated For UFC Fight Night 80

The UFC announced on Thursday that rising star Paige VanZant will fight Joanne Calderwood at the December 10th UFC Fight Night event, which will be shown on UFC Fight Pass.

Paige VanZant (6-1) is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a third-round-armbar victory over Alex Chambers at UFC 191.

Joanne Calderwood (10-1) is 4-1 in her last five bouts and is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Cortney Casey at UFC Fight Night 72.

ESPN confirmed a previously reported a welterweight bout pitting Tim Means (24-7-1) against John Howard (23-11), plus a lightweight match-up between Jim Miller (25-6) and Michael Chiesa (12-2) for the event.

UFC Fight Night 80 takes place at the inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. This event will kick off a three-day stretch of events that will end at UFC 194.
