Merab Dvalishvili Trolls Petr Yan, Says He’ll Send Him a Jacuzzi
In a recent Instagram video, former UFC 135-pound champion Merab Dvalishvili took a lighthearted jab at Petr Yan.
Dvalishvili lost his bantamweight title to Yan last year in a rematch at UFC 323. However, since “The Machine” was the most active champion in 2025, who successfully defended his belt three times before ultimately losing it to Yan, the promotion has shown its respect by promising the Georgian an immediate title rematch. And he honestly deserves one.
Yan vs. Dvalishvili 3 was expected to happen during or after the first quarter of 2026. However, “No Mercy” recently had lower back surgery and will be out of action for the next 2-3 months. Hence, “The Machine” has to wait.
Merab Dvalishvili has a special offer for Petr Yan
UFC fans are already aware of Merab Dvalishvili’s “Jacuzzi” reference, which was aimed at Umar Nurmagomedov ahead of UFC 311. Now, however, the 35-year-old has used that same reference to take a hilarious dig at current and two-time bantamweight champion Petr Yan.
In a Jacuzzi store, Dvalishvili recently shot a video in which he started by saying:
“Hey, guys, I am back, but as you see, in a jacuzzi store. Since I don’t have a fight, now I am selling jacuzzis. I am a jacuzzi salesman.”
Dvalishvili wants the trilogy with Yan ASAP and, therefore, wants to send “No Mercy” a jacuzzi for free so that Yan can recover faster. He added:
“Today I have a special offer for Petr Yan. I want you to recover. So I will send you this jacuzzi for free. This way, we will have our trilogy fight as soon as possible.”
“The Machine” further quipped:
“Petr, I know you like to be relaxed, but I like to be busy. So I want my belt back because this job sucks. So take this jacuzzi. Invite your boys, invite your ladies, and if you live in Thailand, invite your ladyboys.”
