King Mo vs Gegard Mousasi official for April 17th

It is official now, the undefeated Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal will face Gegard “The Dreamcatcher” Mousasi on April 17th for the Light heavyweight championship.

King Mo is currently undefeated and has defeated seasoned veterans like Wiuff, Kerr and Whitehead, and now he will try to move up to harder competition when he face Mousasi for the title.

The war of words between the two fighters has already begun, as King Mo has called Mousasi “Kermit the Frog” and Mousasi has retaliated by saying “Mo will pay for his comments inside the cage”.

Mousasi is currently riding a 15-fight win streak including opponents such as; Hector Lombard, Denis Kang, Melvin Manhoef, Ronaldo Souza, Babalu Sobral and most recently Gary Goodridge. Mousasi will try to carry his momentum into April 17 and will try to go for 16 wins straight.

Mousasi vs King Mo will be the co-main event while, Henderson vs Shields will serve as the main event of the Strikeforce on CBS event at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
