UFC 239 will take place during International Fight Week. It looks like Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren will settle their score there this year.

The bout was originally targeted for UFC 238 in Chicago, however, the date didn’t work Masvidal. So he suggested UFC 239 in Las Vegas on July 6. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

Both fighters are coming off of wins last month. Askren made his much-anticipated promotional debut at UFC 235 when he defeated Robbie Lawler via controversial submission. As for Masvidal. He knocked out Darren Till in London and then went on to give Leon Edwards a three-piece and a soda the very same night.

The event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Jon Jones and Thiago Santos are set to fight for the light heavyweight title in the main event and Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm are scheduled to fight for the women’s bantamweight title.
