Will John Cena give fans what they want in London?

John Cena

WWE fans have been waiting to see John Cena really explode into life as a heel – and while he’s done that with a few promos, we all know a few things have been missing, as we’ve already noted a few times before.

The two big ones are simple: John Cena telling us why he specifically chose to align with The Rock, and him going back and forth with Cody Rhodes on the mic. Some feel as if the WWE are protecting Cody by not having Cena go at him in a promo battle, when in reality, we all know that Rhodes can hold his own. It’s more of a case, in our view, of building up interest when things inevitably spill over.

John Cena is choosing not to give the people what they want to see but tonight, in London, in what is one of his final scheduled appearances before WrestleMania 41, we feel as if he’ll have no choice but to unload.

What we want to hear from John Cena

Passion is something that has never been in short supply from John Cena and in Brussels especially, he came out firing on all cylinders. What we really need in London, though, is an explanation. There are just a few weeks remaining now until we arrive at the showcase of the immortals and while casual fans are already likely to tune in, the hardcore faithful want Cena to explain his actions in a more comprehensive manner.

In essence, more is more. Cody can be the one who doesn’t really have much to say, and perhaps they don’t even need to engage in what is usually a fairly standard brawl – but we do need something to sink our teeth into.

Get ready, London, because this should be a big one.
