A lightweight tilt between Evan Dunham (17-6) and Joe Lauzon (25-11) took place on the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale in Las Vegas.

Dunham landed a combination early in round one. He attacked the body and followed up with a punch to the head. Lauzon responded with two left hands to the jaw. J-Lau” connected with an uppercut in the clinch. A knee to the body found its home for Dunham. Lauzon popped his opponent with a jab. A push kick found the mark for Dunham and he followed it up with an uppercut. Dunham began finding a home for his leg kick.

Lauzon blocked a head kick early in the second frame. Dunham was able to sneak in an uppercut. Dunham pressed his opponent against the fence. Lauzon landed a knee, but Dunham appeared unfazed. Two elbows connected for the Xtreme Couture fighter. He continued to pop Lauzon with shots. “J-Lau” landed an elbow of his own.

The final round got started and Dunham’s movement was as good as it was in the opening frame. He continued to chop at the leg of Lauzon. “J-Lau” was popped by a right hand. A head kick partially broke through the guard of Lauzon. “J-Lau” found himself on his back, but Dunham chose to keep the fight standing.

After the score totals were read, Dunham had his hand raised.

Final Result: Evan Dunham def. Joe Lauzon via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-26)
