Conor McGregor & Cody Garbrandt Have Physical Altercation On TUF 22
It seems the MMA media has been taken over by UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor this week, all coming to a head at the eventful GO BIG media show yesterday (Friday September 4, 2015). But the news just keeps coming, and this time we turn our attention to The Ultimate Fighter 22, where ‘The Notorious’ has already shared scuffles with Urijah Faber, and has given us some classic trash talk although the two opposing coaches will not fight at the TUF 22 finale.
This time it’s Team Alpha Male and UFC bantamweight stand-out Cody Garbrandt getting in the mix on set of The Ultimate Fighter. This GIF is circling the webs, showing a heated physical altercation between ‘No Love’ and McGregor:
It seems everybody wants a piece of McGregor at this stage, with Donald Cerrone, Rafael dos Anjos, Chad Mendes and now Garbrandt all jumping on the beef express bound for Conor-related confrontations. His popularity ever rising, all the above could be eligible for potential fights with ‘The Notorious’ over the coming months.
Is this over saturation or just basic MMA math? The guy with the target on his back is indeed McGregor, and with the cameras never far away from the eclectic star, it’s likely that there will be plenty of physical confrontations in the future, and perhaps they won’t be as playful as the infamous pre-TUF 22 pitter-patter with ‘The Calidornia Kid’.
