Cody Garbrandt Offers Reaction To UFC 235 KO Loss

Cody Garbrandt gives his reaction to suffering a loss in his latest fight under the UFC banner.

The former UFC bantamweight champion made his return but suffered a first round loss to Pedro Munhoz at UFC 235 pay-per-view event. This show went down on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Prior to this fight, UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw scored a first round KO victory over Garbrandt in the main event of the UFC 227 pay-per-view event. The finish of the fight at UFC 227 saw Dillashaw land ferocious flurry in the first round following dropping Garbrandt at first with a right hook.

Before this, their first fight went down at the UFC 217 pay-per-view event in November of 2017 where Dillashaw finished Garbrandt to win back the bantamweight title.

Now, he’s on a three fight losing streak and had to answer some questions from fight fans regarding why he had a wild brawl that led to the finish. He addressed this concern through the power of his official Twitter account:

“I got head butted and after the head butt I was on auto pilot, congrats to Pedro he stuck tough. I love this fight game. I’ll be back thank you to all my supporters means a lot!” He would later add, “Love you guys. Congrats to @PedroMunhozmma.”
