The UFC announced on Sportscenter Thursday night that Chris Weidman will defend his middleweight title against Luke Rockhold at UFC 194. This will co-headline the event.

The main event will be UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor for the featherweight championship.

Rockhold is coming off a win over Lyoto Machida on April 18, 2015 at UFC on Fox 15 via submission in the second round. The win also earned Rockhold his second consecutive Performance of the Night bonus award. Rockhold is currently on a four-fight winning streak.

Weidman will be making his fourth title defense at UFC 194. He’s coming off first-round TKO victory over Vitor Belfort on May 23, 2015 at UFC 187

UFC 194 takes place on December 12th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
