What a story for veteran middleweight Chris Curtis — who lands his second UFC victory, this time nabbing another upset knockout win, this time against the talented, Brendan Allen on the main card of UFC Vegas 44.

Making a quick turnaround, the 34-year-old made his long-awaited Octagon debut back in November at UFC 268 at Madison Square Garden, landing in the promotion with a huge first round knockout win over Phil Hawes.

Scoring his seventh consecutive victory tonight, Curtis, an alum of PFL, CES MMA, and even a veteran of Dana White’s Conteder Series — Curtis, a sizeable betting underdog tonight, managed to stun and wobble Allen in the second round via a ripping left hook to the body followed by a swift right hand upstairs.

Taking his time with a finish, Curtis backed Allen back up to the fence where he picked his strikes to the head, before finding a home for a knee, which forced referee, Herb Dean to action — securing Curtis a second round victory as his UFC story continues to grab headlines.
