Chael Sonnen returns to TSN’s OTR, says Anderson Silva is yesterday’s news

5615366739 9ac4cf05b6For the past year it seemed as if every time UFC Middleweight Chael Sonnen opened his mouth, out would come the name Anderson Silva. If a microphone or camera was anywhere near Sonnen he would use it as an opportunity to disparage the Middleweight Champion and many of his training partners. The goal, according to Sonnen, was to pick a fight with Silva.

Having failed to get that fight it seems as if Sonnen has turned his attention elsewhere, “Im done with the guy. He and I have no business. This guy is cold product, man, he’s like Jheri curls and Pepsi Clear. He’s yesterday’s news. I destroyed this guy back when he was tough. That was years ago. He’s so far over the hill and past his prime, it’s not worth talking about. I’m going to become the number one contender on January 28. But despite what you may think, I an not going to use that voucher to fight Anderson Silva. I’ll be looking at dos Santos, Jones, and possibly St. Pierre. But that, I will take that voucher to Dana White and I will pick one of those three guys. My time with Anderson is done.” – for more see TSN.com.
