Bellator 38 Results: Tim Carpenter upsets Daniel Gracie

Bellator 38 successfully kicked-off the promotion’s season four Light Heavyweight tournament with an exciting night of fights from Harrah’s Tunica Hotel & Casino in Tunica, Mississippi.  Tim Carpenter continued his unbeaten streak, upsetting Daniel Gracie in the main event to improve to 7-0, while D.J. Linderman picked up a late stoppage victory over tourney favorite Raphael Davis.  Richard Hale put on an awesome display, submitting Nik Fekete with an impressive inverted triangle choke, as did Christian M’Pumbu, who scored a TKO win over Chris Davis.  All of the nights winners will advance to the semi-final round of Bellator‘s inagural Light Heavyweight tournament, which will take place later this season.
