Announcement: Coolest fan posts competition!

LowKick is back with another world class competition!
This time around we are challenging you, our creative users, to show us your writing skills.
The concept is simple: submit your fan posts, get others’ ‘cool’ votes, win a great prize!

How does it works?
– Users who wishes to take part in the competition will submit original fan posts, using the newly launched ‘fan post’ function found on the sidebar.

– Once post are published, other users and readers will be able to cast ‘cool’ votes, just like on other LowKick stories.

– The user who has the most ‘cool’ votes on all his submitted posts combined at the end of the competition, will be announced as the winner.

Prizes:

First Place: iPod nano
Second Place: UFC® Official Fight Gloves
Third Place: Two t-shirts, courtesy of Vehement MMA

If you are submitting a news story, also link back to, and credit the news outlet where you saw the report.

– Proofread and spell-check your article before submitting

– Dirty language and fighter/promotion bashing are strictly forbidden. If you’d like to critique someone, make sure it’s done in a constructive fashion.

– Do not run any scripts, malware or any other program in trying to improve the amount of votes for each post.

– You may submit as many posts as you like and cast ‘cool’ votes on multiple posts.

Violating the competition rules may result in banning the user from Lowkick

All and only LowKick registered users can submit posts and be eligible to win prizes, regardless of your location. Registration is free.

Anybody may vote on posts (no need for an account). So invite your friends on Facebook, spread the word on Twitter and in any other way that helps get you closer to the grand prize. Only ‘cool’ votes on LowKick count (not ‘likes’ on Facebook, for example). Each person can vote once for each post.
