Two New Middleweight Bouts Slated For UFC Fight Night 83

UFC officials have announced two new bouts for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 83 card. Those new bouts include a middleweight bout between England’s Brad Scott (10-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Krzysztof Jotko (16-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) as well as Scott Askham (13-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) vs. Chris Dempsey (11-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC), also at 185 pounds.

Brad Scott is 3-2 in his last five bouts and is 2-2 while fighting in the UFC. He is coming off a second-round submission win over Dylan Andrews at UFC Fight Night 65.

Krzysztof Jotko is currently on a two-fight winning streak as he has wins over Tor Troeng at UFC Fight Night 53 by unanimous decision and then Scott Askham at UFC Fight Night 73 by split decision.

Scott Askham is 3-2 in his last five bouts and is just 1-2 while fighting in the UFC. He is coming off a split decision loss to Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Fight Night 76.

Chris Dempsey is 3-2 in his last five bouts and is just 1-2 while fighting in the UFC. He is coming off a first round KO loss to Jonathan Wilson at UFC Fight Night 73.

As of this writing, there is no word on what the main event will be for this event. UFC Fight Night 83 takes place Feb 27 at The O2 in London. The promotion has not revealed the U.S. broadcast plans for this event.
