Set to take place this Saturday night (June 14, 2014) from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, UFC 174 is just around the corner.

The card is groundbreaking in that it features the first-ever flyweight pay-per-view main event when dominant 125-pound champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson takes on surging No. 4-ranked challenger Ali Bagautinov.

In the above main event breakdown from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Octagon announcer Brian Stann discusses both the champion and challenger. He praises the almost otherworldly speed of “Mighty Mouse,” noting that Bagautinov can match him speed-for-speed and may be the better wrestler.

With Johnson on a five-fight win streak with two straight finishes and planning on cleaning out the division, those are some very bold claims to make.

Bagautinov has looked impressive in victories over John Lineker, Tim Elliott, and Marcos Vinicius, but he’s never faced an opponent even close to the caliber of “Mighty Mouse.”

Do you agree with Stann’s assessment of the bout, or is he just trying to attach some legitimacy to what may be another walkover for the blazing-fast titleholder?
