Welterweight Wendell ‘The Machine’ Oliveira met England’s Darren Till to kick off the main card of tonight’s (May 30, 2015) UFC Fight Night 67 from the Goiania Arena in his home country of Brazil.

Till snapped some hard low kicks early, to which Oliveira responded with a clinch up against the cage. He punished Till’s legs with several knees until Till finally reversed position to take the fight back to the center of the Octagon. He missed with a wild, sloppy kick and Oliveira whiffed on a rushing combo attempt. Oliveira landed a decent right hand and the fighters traded leg kicks before Till scored a left to end the first round to boos from the restless Brazilian crowd.

The second frame started with Till clinching, securing a very brief trip takedown. The Brit snapped a head kick and two sharp body kicks, avoiding an Oliveira takedown to land in top position on the ground. He rained down hard unanswered that absolutely had Oliveira out cold for a wholly impressive Octagon debut.
