As we head in to yet another double header weekend (Sat. Oct. 4th, 2014) UFC Fight Night 53 will precede UFC Fight Night 54 on the busy Saturday. Going down in Sweden, the fans will get another taste of top European talent, including the event’s headlining welterweight Gunnar Nelson.
Much has been said about the SBG Ireland product, and it will be interesting to see how he deals with the power of “The Horror” Story. Also on the card are battling featherweights Akira Corossani and Max Holloway, Ilir “Rocky” Latifi as he takes on Jan Blachowicz, and Niklas Bakstrom as he goes up against Mike Wilkinson in another featherweight tilt.
