Stefan Struve vs. Antonio Silva Full Fight Video Highlights
Seasoned heavyweight sluggers Stefan Struve and Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva both had a lot to prove before their co-main event bout at today’s (Sun., May 8, 2016) UFC Fight Night 87 from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Both fighters had lost three of their previous four, and with knockout losses mounting up, a loss could have been the end of either competitor’s UFC run, at least for now. There was also a lot of additional pressure on the 7’0″ Struve, who was fighting in front of his native Dutch fans.
Rather than succumb to that pressure, however, ‘The Skyscraper’ rose to it, nailing the charging ‘Bigfoot’ with some stinging punches before rocking him with a vicious knee to the body and eventually finishing the former title challenger with a torrent of elbows on the ground.
