Ronda Rousey Files Trademark For ‘DNB’

Current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is no “Do Nothing Bitch,” but she is trying to make those three words part of her intellectual property. Rousey has filed a trademark for “Do Nothing Bitch” and “DNB” (via ESPN).

In just two days of being on sale, over 25,000 of Rousey’s “DNB” shirts were sold. The shirts were obviously a hit amongst mixed martial arts (MMA) enthusiasts and fans of “Rowdy.” Not everyone took a liking to the shirts, as UFC strawweight Rose Namajunas showed concerns of the message being lost.

Of course sales of the “DNB” shirts don’t go without a good cause. Rousey has been selling a limited edition “Don’t Be A D.N.B” shirt through Represent. The proceeds will go to a mental health charity.

“Rowdy” is at the height of her popularity in 2015. Back in February, she submitted Cat Zingano in 14 seconds via armbar. Rousey followed that up with her 34-second destruction of Bethe Correia when she knocked “Pitbull” out cold earlier this month.
