Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino has seen plenty of media attention over the recent months, mainly due to her ongoing rivalry with Ronda Rousey. Speculation raged this past quarter over Justino possibly signing to the UFC and facing ‘Rowdy’ in Melbourne, Australia at UFC 193, these proved to be simply rumours though.
One of Rousey’s go-to criticisms of Cyborg has been her failed drug test for steroids in 2009, and alongside her weight, it’s proven to be a big hump in terms of negotiations for a UFC contract. Dana White has said that Justino must make bantamweight outside the UFC before being granted a fight with Rousey, and she is currently cutting to 140 pounds for a yet to be named opponent at Invicta FC 15.
Cyborg has shown that she really doesn’t like to be trolled, and has challenged one to a fight for their recent comments. This isn’t your average keyboard warrior though, this is 6-2 Invicta featherweight Cindy ‘Battlecat’ Dandois, who told SchenkMMA that feels Cyborg looks like a man:
“She does really look like a man, and she does hit as hard as a man. She has got no boobs, a lot of muscles and arms more strong then her husband’s arms. Nobody can deny that, I only wasn’t afraid to say it. That doesn’t mean that I don’t respect her. That’s just the truth!!! It doesn’t concern me at all however. I know she is very strong, she is at this point the number one in the sport that I love so very much, and it would be a challenge to fight her one day. If I get that opportunity, I guess I would talk with my coaches for a good strategy and game plan. I also think I would stop my job for a while to have more hours in the gym, knowing that it will be necessary.”
Justino took to Twitter, obviously unhappy with what she’d read, and challenged ‘Battlecat’ to a fight for being a troll:

Could we be looking at the back story for Cyborg vs Dandois? We’ll keep you posted as any more updates come in but, at this stage, there isn’t really anyone one else on the table for Cris Justino to face. Interesting fact; Cyborg and Dandois hold a common opponent in Marloes Coenen, after ‘Battlecat’ defeated the former Strikeforce champion in her pro debut.
