After take many shots at the UFC, former UFC fighter and Pride fighter Wanderlei Silva has just taken a stiff right hook by the promotion.

Since his retirement/departure from MMA after being suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for running from his drug test prior to a fight against Chael Sonnen sometime ago, Silva has said some negative things about the biggest MMA promotion in the world and how he can prove that they fix some of their fights.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has filed suit against Silva in Nevada district court on Tuesday.

While there are not a ton of details of this case as of this writing, the UFC is suing Silva for Intentional Misconduct. Electronic access to the complaint isn’t currently available at this time.

It should be noted that Silva is still under contract with Zuffa, so even if he wasn’t suspended by the state athletic commission, UFC has him suspended and under contract which equals Silva being straight out of luck.

During his Twitter rant, UFC President Dana White was asked about Silva and if they planned to sue him due to his “fixed” comments. White replied with ‘ 😉 ‘ that a lawsuit might happen.
