Dan Henderson: I would rather fight Jon Jones than Rashad Evans

Dan Henderson has come forward with his preference for his promised UFC title fight, and he is pulling no punches concerning the reasons why. Henderson said that he would rather fight Jon Jones than Rashad Evans due to how their respective styles match up. He had the following to say on the subject: “I think Jon Jones is a better fight for me. His style matches up better. Jones will stand-up with me more. Rashad is real well-rounded, he’ll stand and bang with me a little, but he’ll be

Alistair Overeem talks JDS, says the fight "will all come down to strategy"

Top Heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem, who will challenge Junior dos Santos for the division title at UFC 146, discusses his opponent, as well as his expectations for the bout. In fact, he seemed so disgusted with fighting after the way he lost the match that he subsequently retired from MMA. Knowing his history of brash decisions we are only left to hope that he goes back on that plan, and keeps scrapping. If Cesar Gracie is able to talk his brooding brawler

Anderson Silva reveals he is suffering from a back injury

The last time MMA fans saw Anderson Silva inside the Octagon he defeated Yushin Okami by TKO in the second round of UFC 134’s main event. Following that event Silva admitted that he had suffered a shoulder injury while training for that fight.  That injury had kept Silva from training since the conclusion of that fight on August 27, 2011.
