The beef between the GOAT Artem Lobov and Paulie Malignaggi just got sent into overdrive.
The two rivals met face to face at a media event to promote their new Bare Knuckle FC careers in New York City. Things got heated, and when they did, Malignaggi slapped Lobov. If you pay close attention, Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson can be seen holding Malignaggi back as well.
Malignaggi espoused a tirade of vitriol towards Lobov during the exchange, which nearly broke out into an all-out brawl (via MMA Junkie):
“Don’t get in my face and make threats here! I got in your face to promote! Don’t get in my face and make threats here, because I’ll (expletive) you up here!”

Lobov recently asked for and was granted his UFC release. He signed with Bare Knuckle FC and will take on fellow former UFC veteran Jason Knight in his debut.
Malignaggi is still campaigning hard for a fight with Lobov’s good friend and teammate Conor McGregor. But a fight with Lobov will seemingly have to do. That’s arguably the biggest fight Bare Knuckle FC could stage at this point in time.
And now, it has the outside-the-cage drama to help promote it.
