Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt Full Fight Video Highlights
Following a surprise reveal at June’s UFC 199, the MMA world was thrown into a whirlwind of anticipation for former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar’s unexpected return against knockout puncher Mark Hunt in the co-main event of last night’s (Sat., July 9, 2016) UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The clear questions that needed to be answered in this fight were clear, as most questioned if Lesnar, who had shown an extreme distaste for being punched in the face in numerous fights, could take “The Super Samoan’s” nasty knockout power, while the flipside was of course Hunt’s ability to defend Lesnar’s bull-rushing takedowns and load-bearing top game.
When these two heavyweight behemoths locked horns, it was ultimately Lesnar’s NCAA Division 1 championship-level wrestling pedigree that won out, with the former champ taking a surprisingly inactive Hunt down repeatedly to smother him for a dominant return win.
