UFC featherweight standout Chan Sung Jung has made his name in the world of MMA with countless epic brawls, and a unique style paired with killer submissions. Since his split decision thriller in the WEC against Leonard Garcia in 2010, ‘The Korean Zombie’ has been on everyone’s radar. Jung debuted for the UFC with a 2011 rematch against Garcia, which he ended by way of the extremely rare twister submission.
Follow up finishes against Mark Hominick and Dustin Poirier landed ‘KZ’ in a title fight against Jose Aldo at UFC 163; the four round battle that ensued was gruelling to say the least, and left both men with a shopping list of injuries. Now healthy after a year, Jung has been paired against TUF veteran Akira Corassani. The UFC announced the news via Twitter:
This is going to be awesome! @KoreanZombieMMA vs. @AkiraCorassani announced as co-main at #UFCStockholm on Oct 4th! pic.twitter.com/eQ7x49CeQR

The Swedish natuve Corassani is a Renzo Gracie product, and sports a 12-4 pro record. Wins over Robbie Peralta and Andy Ogle in the division had Corassani on the right path, but he got knocked out by Dustin Poirier at the TUF: Nations finals this past April, which ended his immediate title hopes. Can he hang with the super exciting, one-time title challenger ‘KZ’?
