Frank Mir Makes Serious Bank For Knocking Out Todd Duffee

MirMandelSherdog2

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir scored a thunderous knockout last Wednesday (July 15th, 2015) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 71 in San Diego, California. His opponent, Todd Duffee, was rushing in with big punches and managed to rock Mir with a few shots, before the two-time boss clipped him with a straight left that sent ‘Duff Man’ out cold to the canvas for a picture perfect KO finish. The payroll for the event has been released, and it’s almost laughable when you consider Duffee only made $12,000.

Frank Mir made some serious bank for the win, topping the payroll at 200K, check out the figures below:

The full tally is $884,000, nearly a quarter of which was handed to one of the 24 fighters in Frank Mir. It pays to be at the top I guess.
