Make what you will of this, but you could argue at the least that Fedor Emelianenko’s improved English vocabulary indicate’s he’ll be fighting on Western shores upon his comeback. The former Pride FC heavyweight champion remains non-committal when quizzed about his pending return to the world of competitive MMA, only revealing that an announcement will be made in the next three weeks.

Luke Thomas caught up with Fedor during the Bellator Dynamite media day in San Jose, California, where Emelianenko also faced off with fellow heavyweight legend Randy Couture, as can be seen below.

Still no clue as to the date or venue set for Emelianenko’s comeback, but surely his current affiliation with Bellator and his former Strikeforce boss Scott Coker is a clue. It certainly won’t be long until we get answers, and Fedor simply stated that he was ready when asked why he wanted to come back.

The mystery of Fedor, as Dana White recently said, remains ongoing, but that’s all part of his allure to MMA fans. The quiet unemotional Russian battered his way in to the hearts of many avid martial arts followers throughout his decade of dominance, and most are still very eager to see him back in the ring/cage.
