Bellator 210 Results: John Salter Taps Chidi Njokuani

Bellator 210 results are underway as the Viacom promotion holds this latest event on television for fight fans around the world to watch the show.

It’s once again fight day here at LowKickMMA, and the talent on display tonight (Friday, November 30, 2018) will come in the form of Bellator 210. Headlining the card are Chidi Njokuani and John Salter, but there’s a whole bunch of great fights also taking place on the rest of the main card.

Chidi Njokuani and John Salter meet in a middleweight bout in the main event. In round 1, they had a feeling out process until Salter took him down to the ground and landed some big strikes. Salter got the back of Njokuani and locked in the rear-naked choke for the win.

David Rickels and Guilherme Vasconcelos meet in a welterweight bout in the co-main event. In round 1, both fighters had some nice movements while trying to find their range. Rickels blitzes him with strikes that led to him back peddling up to the fence. Vasconcelos clinches with him and scores a takedown. Rickels managed to get back to his feet and they traded to end the round. In round 2, Vasconcelos had a cut under his right eye. That didn’t stop him from executing his gameplan of takedowns and ground and pound. There is a feeling that that the tide has turned. In round 3, Rickels was the one who was able to score a takedown against Vasconcelos and landed some big strikes. However, Vasconcelos managed to scramble to his feet where he ate some nice strikes from David. Rickels scored a takedown and landed some strikes. Rickels earned the decision win. 

Bruna Ellen vs. Kristina Williams is next in a women’s flyweight bout. In round 1, Williams managed to kick her in the face early in the round. Ellen kept circling and trying to counter strike. Both girls didn’t have their range down and led to some lack of action. Late in the round, they had a nice leg kick exchange. In round 2, Williams still couldn’t find her range as Ellen was doing a ton of movement and avoiding strikes while landing her own. Late in the round, Ellen was able to score a takedown but Williams got back to her feet. In round 3, Williams stunned Ellen and dropped her where she was able to secure guard. However, Williams decided to stand up where they would exchange to the bell. Williams got the decision win.

Opening the main card on Paramount Network is Juan Archuleta vs. Jeremy Spoon in a featherweight bout. In round 1, Archuleta clinched and continued to be able to take him down but couldn’t keep Spoon down, who was doing some good wrestling off his back. Spoon came out aggressive and missing a lot of shots when given. In round 2, Archuleta was able to take him down in the middle of the round and landed some serious ground and pound. Archuleta dropped him with a left hand and swarmed him. Spoon got back to his feet where they exchanged. Archuleta took him down to end the round. In round 3, Archuleta continued his wrestling and ground and pound gameplan in order to score a unanimous decision win.
